Begin and end in Antalya on a 9 day Turkey adventure. You’ll wander the old quarter and Hadrian’s Gate, then visit Aspendos’ superb Roman theatre and the Temple of Apollo at Side. Cross the Taurus Mountains to Cappadocia – think underground cities, cave churches, panoramic Uchisar and the open air museum in Göreme. Explore the Ihlara Valley, a Seljuk caravanserai and Konya’s Mevlana Mausoleum – with an optional dervish ceremony. Continue via lakeside Eğirdir to Pamukkale’s white terraces and the grand ruins of Ephesus, then unwind in Kusadasi, Bodrum and Marmaris. A Dalyan river cruise reveals Lycian tombs and hot springs before returning to Antalya.

- Welcome to Antalya. On arrival, we’ll meet you and transfer you to your hotel – please check the information boards in the hotel reception for the exact meeting place and time. In the afternoon, we’ll take a short tour of this coastal city of more than a million inhabitants, visiting Hadrian’s Gate, the Ottoman district and the striking waterfall that flows directly into the sea. Dinner is included. Please note: This tour may have travellers joining or departing at various points along the route, meaning group composition can change during the tour. Please also be aware that depending on group composition, guiding may be in additional languages as well as English.
