Explore Japan on a 10-day small-group journey round-trip from Tokyo. Dive into Tokyo’s flavours at Tsukiji, stroll Meiji Jingu, the Imperial Palace and Senso-ji, then chase views of Mt Fuji in Hakone by ropeway and Lake Ashi cruise. Roll west by rail to Kyoto for Kinkaku-ji, Kiyomizu-dera and lantern-lit Gion, then day-trip to Nara for bowing deer and Todai-ji. Continue to Osaka’s Kuromon Market, Osaka Castle and neon Dotonbori, before a poignant visit to Hiroshima’s Peace Park and the floating torii at Miyajima. Wrap up in Kanazawa’s Kenroku-en, teahouses and samurai lanes, plus storybook Shirakawa-go, before returning to Tokyo.

- On arrival in Tokyo, we provide a shared car transfer from the airport to our centrally located hotel. If you land after 20:30, you’ll need to arrange your own transport to the hotel or book a private pick-up with us. Rest well – your Tokyo touring begins tomorrow.
