- Pick up from your separately booked city hotel in Shanghai at around 8 a.m. and take the train to Suzhou. You will visit a silk embroidery factory and two of the typical gardens: the Garden of Lingering and the Garden of the Master of the Nets. Stroll through the gardens and explore the winding alleyways, walk over small zigzag bridges and discover typical stylistic elements of classical Chinese horticulture with every new step. 2 nights in Suzhou.
