日ごとの行程
We begin our group adventure of the Inca Trail to Machu Picchu, picking you up in our private transportation from your hotel in Cusco. Once we are all on board, we will head to the town of Ollantaytambo, where you will be given an average time of 40 minutes to have breakfast and make your last purchases (snacks, water, among others). Remember that this is the last point where you can find these supplies.
Then, we will continue our journey to the town of Piscacucho (Km 82), the starting point of the Inca Trail to Machu Picchu Classic. Here, you will meet the rest of our entire travel team (talented chefs and excellent porters), who will accompany you on this epic adventure. Once we are at the Inca Trail checkpoint, you will need to present your original passport before starting to hike this ancient trail.
During this first day, you will do a gradual warm-up hike, as the trail is not very demanding. The first place we will go to is the archaeological site of Huillca Raccay, from where we will have a privileged view of the Inca site of Patallacta (an ancient Inca checkpoint located in the middle of thick vegetation), then, we will continue walking for about 30 minutes more to Tarayoc, where we will enjoy a delicious lunch accompanied by the incredible view of the snowy La Veronica (5,860 m/19,225 ft).
After a nutritious lunch, we will continue walking for another 2.5 hours until we reach our campsite at Wayllabamba (3,000 m/9,842 ft). Here, we will wait for you with tea, snacks and a light dinner to finally rest in the tents already prepared for your comfortable stay.
NOTE: In case you are staying in Urubamba or Ollantaytambo at the beginning of the tour, the pick-up will be at 6:00 a.m. and if you are at Km 82, the pick-up will be coordinated 24 hours before.
