Arrive in Tashkent, where your driver will meet you at Tashkent International Airport and transfer you to the hotel (if you arrive early in the morning, an extra night at the hotel may be needed).
Your sightseeing adventure begins in the Old City of Tashkent. Visit the Khast Imam Complex, a spiritual and cultural hub of the city, home to the world-famous Uthman Quran, one of the oldest surviving copies of the Quran. The complex features stunning landmarks such as the Barak-Khan Madrasah, the Tillya Sheikh Mosque, and the Muyi Muborak Madrasah, along with the Kaffal Shashi Mausoleum, which adds to the deep historical significance of the site.
Next, head to Chorsu Bazaar, one of the oldest markets in Uzbekistan, where you can wander through a maze of stalls selling everything from spices to textiles, and experience the bustling atmosphere of local trade. After exploring the vibrant bazaar, UZBEKISTAN CITY TOURS will arrange a lunch(not included) at the Central Asian Plov Center, where you can enjoy a hearty serving of plov, the beloved national dish, cooked in giant, wood-fired kazans.
After lunch, take a ride on the Tashkent Metro, a beautiful and efficient way to see the city. Visit Independence Square, where you can admire the grand monuments symbolizing the nation’s history, and stroll through Amir Temur Square to see the Monument of Courage, a powerful symbol of Tashkent’s resilience.
In the evening, return to your hotel for some free time to relax or explore the city further at your own pace.
