Staying at two beautiful safari lodges along the Zambezi River, this tour allows you to experience the best of both the bush and the river. The lodges are only open seasonally, from mid-April to mid-November, providing the ideal conditions for river safaris, canoe excursions, and incredible wildlife encounters.

Arrive at Lusaka Airport and board a flight to a bush airstrip. A short road transfer will take you to the boat crossing point, where you’ll embark on a scenic 20-minute motorboat trip down the Zambezi River. This is your first water-based game viewing safari, offering the chance to spot wildlife as you travel. You’ll arrive at Chiawa Camp, your luxury lodge for the next few days. After checking into your suite, enjoy a wildlife viewing experience from a hide overlooking the bush. Later, cool off in the plunge pool before indulging in an afternoon tea. In the evening, embark on a game drive, continuing into the night to observe nocturnal creatures. Return to the lodge for a 4-course dinner and drinks before heading back to your suite for a peaceful night’s rest.
