Visit historical sites and museums ride the hop-on hop-off Double Decker Bus and stroll the scenic River Walk’s shaded pathways connecting hundreds of shops, restaurants and attractions.
The Day of the Dead, known in Spanish as Día de los Muertos, is a cultural celebration that both commemorates the deceased and affirms the value of life. Originating in Mexico over 3,000 years ago and now recognized globally, the holiday extends from late October into early November. Its observances include decorated altars, traditional foods, symbolic artwork, and rituals that preserve the connection between the living and the dead, with practices as diverse as the communities that celebrate them.

Arrive at the San Antonio airport and transfer to the group’s hotel, the Hyatt Place San Antonio/Riverwalk. After checking in at the hotel, conveniently located along the lively River Walk with its many restaurants, shops, and attractions, take some time to relax before the evening’s meet and greet. Later, enjoy a leisurely stroll along the River Walk, soaking in the vibrant atmosphere, before gathering for dinner at one of the local restaurants.
