ツアー概要
This 3 nights and 4 days Bhutan Tour will leave you amazed at the peaceful nature of the people as well as the profuse natural beauty of this country. Bhutan is a devout Buddhist country located between India and China. The country has a pure unspoiled environment, diverse flora and fauna, and a rich culture.
Bhutan has preserved its extraordinary reputation due to its focus on maintaining “happiness” and health among its people. This Buddhist country boasts of having no traffic lights – and has banned smoking in public places. Bhutan is a Buddhist kingdom located on the eastern edge of the Himalayas and is known for its monasteries, fortresses (or dzongs) and magnificent landscapes, ranging from lowland subtropical plains to steep mountains and valleys. Mt. Jomolhari (7,326m) is a particularly popular trekking destination, as is the Paro Taktsang Monastery (also known as Tiger’s Nest) that sits on the cliffs above the densely forested Paro Valley. This temple was built in 1692, around the Taktsang Senge Samdup cave where it is claimed that Guru Padmasambhava meditated for four Months in the 8th century. Bhutan’s government is focused on species and habitat conservation, with more than 72% of the country under forest cover and 51.4 percent classified as protected areas. It has 103 tigers. Bhutan’s national animal is an odd species called the takin and is believed to be a cross between an ox, antelope, sheep and a goat.
Sherpa Expedition Teams offers a variety of tours, travel and holiday packages to Bhutan. Being Nepal’s neighbor, we offer private tours, group tours and even cross country tours in Bhutan. It wasn’t until 1974 that Bhutan opened its borders to tourists. The easiest way to get to Bhutan is by air from Nepal to Paro, Bhutan.
