Selamat Datang and welcome to Malaysia! Your family adventure begins in Kuala Lumpur, a city known for its diversity of cultures, colourful neighbourhoods and mouth-watering cuisine. After checking into your hotel, you’ve got the afternoon to recharge (and shake off that jetlag) or explore the local area at your own pace. At 5:00 PM, you’ll meet your Adventure Leader and the rest of the group on your tour for a welcome briefing to run through some key safety tips and give you a better idea of what to expect on your adventure ahead. After that, you have the best ice breaker of all: your first dinner together! This will be a great way to get to know your group better over some delicious local food. Your Adventure Leader will join you and help introduce some Malaysian classics. From satay with rich peanut sauce (a total fan favourite) to fragrant coconut rice and spicy sambal, consider this your first bite into Malaysia’s foodie scene.
